Upgrading Tools in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To enhance the Royal Tools in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can upgrade your equipment by increasing friendship levels with characters. In return, players will be able to remove barriers with these improvements and access locations that were previously blocked. Here is a list of tasks that you can complete for each item:
Pickaxe: Complete Maui’s quest – A Tale of Stone and Fire (Level 4) & Elsa’s mission – The Singing Ice (Level 6)Watering Can: Complete Merlin’s quest – The Final Trial (Level 10)Shovel: Complete Anna’s quest – An Icy Invitation (Level 2)
The Pickaxe of Disney Dreamlight Valley has different upgrades for two types of barriers: large ice and sea debris. When you initially meet Maui, he will help you with the first enhancement that can break smaller sea chunks around the beach. Then, you can take it a step further by breaking giant sea debris once you increase your friendship level with the character. As for the second upgrade of the Pickaxe, you must recruit Elsa from the Frozen realm, located at Dream Castle. However, this improvement will only allow you to remove tiny amounts of ice, so you’ll need to reach Level 6 to unlock The Singing Ice quest for the following enhancement. Besides these barriers, you can use the Watering Can upgrade to eliminate large mushrooms and an enhanced Shovel to remove the tree stumps.
