Ming Chi Kuo claims that Apple will go for glass enclosure and will completely get rid of aluminum casing, if Apple introduces same aluminum casing in iPhone coming in 2017, it may not look modern or new design. He further said that if iPhone 7 will sport aluminum casing in 2016, it will be fifth consecutive year for Apple to introduce same casing in iPhones. Kuo also predicted that the new iPhone may sport AMOLED display which will be lighter and stronger. It seems that if Apple may not introduce “S” series iPhone in 2017, if the company wants to introduce major change in the iPhone, the device coming in 2017 will be called as iPhone 8 rather than iPhone 7s. Till now we have seen that “S” series iPhones generally have same design, it just gets improved specifications than its predecessor. Earlier notes from Kuo also suggest that the iPhone in 2017 will sport an AMOLED display. If reports are to be believed, Apple is also planning to get rid of LCD display instead it could introduce AMOLED display in its upcoming iPhones. It is believed that Apple may introduce wireless charging feature in its devices by 2017. Apple’s wireless charging will be safe and won’t have any adverse effect.
