The answer to whether or not the reboot of Saints Row supports cross-platform play is that it depends on the platforms involved. The game supports cross-generational play, but is not cross-platform. That means only consoles within the same family can play with one another. Xbox One players can interact with the Xbox Series X|S version, while PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 players can group up. This does leave PC and Google Stadia players out in the cold, so be sure to grab a copy for console if playing with friends.
