This processor presented as the Threadripper 1950X, according to AMD, this new processor will be sold for $ 999 dollars. It will have a clock speed of 3.4GHz with turbo clock up to 4.0GHz. But will it beat those of the competition?
AMD Ryzen Threadripper to deal with Intel
Last May, the US company AMD “shaken” the processor market with a powerful offer. The processor giant unveiled the 1920X Threadripper with 12 cores “only” at a price of $ 799. Both processors are unlocked so users can overclock as they see fit. With these prices, AMD can once again have unbeatable prices when compared to the new line of Intel, the i9 X series. Although AMD has not released any processor with 18 core, such as Intel, the Threadripper 1950X is cheaper $ 700, then the Core i9-7960X equivalent. With these values, you can get 2 Threadripper 1950X for the price of an Intel Core i9-7980XE with 18 cores. In fact, the market has even made feedback on this nonsense of prices and the reason, for many, it is simply in marketing. However, Intel presents Powerful i9 at Computex 2017 and its valid reasons that only the market will bear. While the performance and stability of the Threadrippers have not been tested, the AMD price advantage makes it an option to consider and may be “damaging” to Intel’s i9 sales, at least it will raise some questions in some segments.
Like the entire gaming market and like the entire hardware market, we also hope to see the true power of these new AMD’s and see if they can outperform Intel. So, what do you think about this new powerful processor of AMD? Simply share your views and thoughts in the comment section below.
