When is AGDQ 2023
Just like in past years, AGDQ 2023 will take place over one whole week at the beginning of January. The fun all begins on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023, and runs until the following Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023.
How to Stream AGDQ 2023
The main way to stream AGDQ 2023 will be directly through the Games Done Quick Twitch channel. Fortunately, nobody has to stay up all week in order to catch the best runs that happen while they’re sleeping. The Games Done Quick YouTube channel also uploads each individual run hours after they’ve finished up on Twitch.
Will AGDQ 2023 Be In-Person or Online
Although Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2022 brought back the in-person portion of these events when they returned to Bloomington, MN, AGDQ 2023 will be online only. In the announcement tweet, it was stated that the live event was pulled from its venue in Florida, citing the state government’s lax COVID-19 policies and their disregard for LGBTQ+ rights. That’s all there is to know about when AGDQ 2023 is and how to stream the event. The event itself is still four months away, but if you’re looking to get involved, then make sure to move quickly. The official site for Games Done Quick is open for speedrun submissions and volunteer positions as of Sept. 11, 2022. Featured Image Source: Games Done Quick
