This designer has been working with Xiaomi for a while and now we can see that he will have a smartphone belonging to the company. After announcing the Ceramic Black model, the company has just surprised us with a special edition of it. It will be exactly the same in terms of specifications, although in terms of design we see slight changes.
8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage and ceramic body
This new device comes with a ceramic body and aluminum frame, while the other has a fully ceramic back. This is the last one to be presented, which we now know can also be purchased in black. Thanks to the company itself we can know that this device will be launched in a special edition of Philippe Starck.
There are several differences between the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 and the Ceramic version. The latter has the entire ceramic body, while the normal version has an aluminum frame. In addition, the Starck Edition version has an inscription on the back where the word ‘Starck’ is clearly readable. In terms of design, these are the main changes between these three versions: Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, Mi MIX 2 Ceramic and Mi MIX 2 Ceramic Starck Edition.
If we go to the specifications we also see notable differences. The first is the amount of RAM since in the ceramic version we can see 8 GB, while the original device with the aluminum frame has 6 GB. The same happens with storage, going from 64 GB to a single 128 GB model. These are the two main changes in the specifications since both the camera and the processor are still exactly the same.
This Ceramic Black version has a price of about 711 dollars. While the new edition of Philippe Starck goes up to 759.99 dollars. We do not know if these two versions will reach the Indian market, although most likely not. So, what do you think about this? Simply share your views and thoughts in the comment section below.
